Cable not buried well

We joined virgin last August and to be fair the service has been great. However, i've noticed recently the cable going from the street to the house has become visible in our driveway and worried the cable could get damaged and affect the service. 

Would it be possible to get someone out to resolve this before this becomes an issue?

If you contact Virgin they should be able to sort this for you by arranging an engineer.
