I haven’t received my account number in any email. i’ve heard that they can give it to you after the installation date, but the problem is i’m not sure if it will be installed because i received an email saying that there is already a Virgin Media account at my address (i assume belonging to the previous tenants that i do not have contact with). I cant even contact virgin media to transfer ownership because i do not have an account number. Can someone tell me if the wifi will still be installed?

They won't install if there is an existing account at the address.
You could call the installations number 0800 052 1734.
