Nothing wrong with a functioning HUB 5.

Sounds like you have a faulty one.

The Hub 5 it is probably not the fault here - could you please provide the upstream, downstream and network logs from 192.168.0.1 (or 192.168.100.1 if in modern mode)

I do not work for VM, just trying to help!

The Hub4 and Hub5 use more frequencies on the cable than a Hub2 or Hub3. Most problems like this are down to a circuit fault. So please post some stats, details follow:

How to get stats from a VM hub (no need to logon to the hub)

Open a web browser and go to 192.168.0.1 router mode or 192.168.100.1 modem mode

  • Click on the “> Check router status” button
  • Click on the “Downstream” tab, copy the text and paste into your reply, do not take a screen shot
  • Click on the “Upstream” tab, copy the text and paste into your reply
  • Click on the “Networking” tab, copy the text and paste into your reply.
    • Do NOT post photos or screen shots they will be rejected as they contain MAC addresses. The board software will automatically change MAC addresses to **:** if done as above.

Can I ask if you have the Hub in modem mode?
