WiFi pod availability

Tuning in

Good evening just a quick question

I’ve moved to virgin media from Bt because my speed with Bt was an absolute joke compared to virgin so far everything is going well however I have one issue of sorts

I used Bt whole home WiFi discs which worked great and did the job they were supposed to while my signal has greatly improved with virgin I would like to add a WiFi pod or two within my home

one for reliability as my home is of old school standard solid walls etc but mainly for my security cameras and smart lights outside as the signal in my garden is somewhat week so I want to get a stronger connection

having phone’s customer service I was informed that I couldn’t have any pods because my signal isn’t poor enough and despite saying I was happy to pay to get one I was still told no

how do you get one of these things I’ve seen people selling them on eBay is the only way to buy one

many thanks in advance

Freddie

Hi Freddie

Thanks for your post!

I'm sorry to hear you were told that we couldn't get WiFi Pods sent out to you. We will be able to get some ordered for you, no problem at all.

However please be aware that the WiFi Max service is chargeable depending on what package you're subscribed to. WiFi Pods come at no additional cost for customers subscribed to our Gig1 Fibre Broadband and our Volt packages, otherwise they are an additional £8 per month. You can find out more about our WiFi Max service here.

After taking a look and you're still happy to proceed, give us a shout and we can send you a message and get them ordered for you 😊
