WiFi continually dropping out - Hub 3

MatthewPerren
Joining in

We have a hub 3 with TP Link extenders.
WiFi continually drops out even if we turn all the extenders off. We’ll get a signal but no internet connection.
The Ethernet connection I get through a TP link extender is pretty solid in comparison.
It’s getting to the stage that we are considering leaving Virgin.

(also TV signal is glitching but I’ll post this separately)

Post the power levels, Pre and PostRS errors and network log from the Hub.

Also setup a BQM to monitor your circuit www.thinkbroadband.com/ping

We’ll get a signal but no internet connection. ( from the VM Hub's Wi-Fi )

The is all too common when a member of the home has used the Connect App to Pause Wi-Fi
i.e. block devices from connecting to the internet via the VM Hub's Wi-Fi

Stop using  extenders with the hub get a better wifi router with 1Gb ports and use hub in modem mode

Thanks for the suggestion but it’s not that.

Hi @MatthewPerren

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Sorry to hear of the issues you're having with your WiFi.

Checking the systems on our side, we can't see any issues in the area or with our router's specifications that might explain a fault on our side.

Do you find that this issue occurs when you're further away from the router or in certain rooms of the home?

Here to help 🙂
