Just got an email about guaranteed speed of 20mbps and my WiFi is not doing that. Does anyone know how to claim the free boosters?

Hi @timukbaker,

That's great to hear! Glad to hear that you've been able to place your order and are now awaiting for your WiFi Pod.

Apologies that the call took longer than expected, our teams are working hard to respond to all contacting customers.

You can read a little about how to set up your WiFi Pod on our website.

If you need any help or assistance going forward, please let us know. 😊

Thanks!

How can I get pods as when checked via VM Connect no fewer than 4 rooms in our house drop below the minimum speed that VW offer. I have the results of the check but how can I pass that on to VM as the app does npt appear tpo have any means of doing so.

Some assistance needed please.

Many thanks

Jon

I got a pad last week and thought that it had switched off my 2.4 Ghz network; the networks were named VM1234 & VM1234 2.4 (not their real names!) and, after switching the pad on, I could only see the first of these and my kit on the 2.4 network stopped working.

If I'm understanding your post correctly, the pad has somehow merged the two separate IDs into just the one and (obviously) the 2.4 devices can't connect because the network name has changed.  To get the pad to work properly then, I'll need to plug the pad in, let it amend the SSID names again (I reinstated the separate names), then reconnect the 2.4 kit to the VM1234 network?

I would've used the VM Connect app to help me out with this but I keep getting this message:

Forgot to ask, any idea how to fix this?

Thanks for reaching out to us @SalmonBuddie, and a very warm welcome to our Community Forums!

Sorry to hear of the issues you've been experiencing with the services since the Wi-Fi pod has been connected.

Can you please confirm if this is still ongoing, or if this has since been resolved?

Are you currently able to connect to both bands and the Wi-Fi pod also?

Thanks
