Virgin blocking twitter links

When clinking links on Twitter the link is passed to twitters T.CO address which then pushes the user to the correct link address  but virgin media is blocking the T.co domain. As a result I can't click on news articles that people have posted on Twitter. Any fixes apart from a VPN?

Blocking how / what error message do you see.

Is this going to turn out to be another Hub 5 with Smart Security enabled in the VM Connect app ???

 I'm having this issue too, it's so frustrating. I've added an image of the message to hopefully help us find an answer

At the top of your screen shot we can see your internet access has been intercepted
and redirected to host : uk-blockpage.prod.lg.securingsam.com

Access to the intended web page is being blocked by having "Smart Security" enabled in the VM Connect app.
Disable "Smart Security" in the VM Connect app & retry the access.
