Do Virgin Media allow the usage of a VPN on their network?

I'm not meaning entering anything on the router setting, I'm referring to using a VPN app?

Yeah it's fine. The only mention of VPNs in the Ts and Cs is in relation to the use of them invalidating claims under the WiFi speed guarantee.

Settings for aspects of VM that can prevent VPN's working for Hubs in Router mode

1) Child Safe - Must be disable in the VM Online account for VPNs to work
2) Virus Safe - Best to disable in the VM Online account as false positives are not unknown
3) Smart Security - Hub 5 users, disable in the Connect app - this intrusive DNS interceptor / redirector & blocks use of DoH / DoT.

How come this wasn't required to do with BT?

Are there instructions anywhere on how to to this?

Log onto your online account and go to the "Security" page - all the buttons you need to "click" will be evident
