Hi
I have the Gig1 Full Fibre Broadband but our lower ground floor kitchen / living room needs better wifi for our security camera.
I've gone onto my account, found the help page to see if I am eligible to order one, clicked on the link and it just keeps taking me back to log in.
All I want to do is order a booster! Any time I've ever had to contact Virgin it's an intensely annoying experience. The broadband is good but the customer service not so.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks.

See the post from “newapollo” in this thread for a guide to scanning and ordering Pods….

Hi JC232
Thanks for your post.
We're sorry to hear you've been struggling to get some WiFi Pods sent out to you - we'd like to help.
I've dropped you a PM so I can take your account details and have a look. In the meantime and if you haven't already, can you please run some speed tests via Samknows in all of the rooms where you're receiving <30mbs? These results will filter through to us and we can confirm if WiFi Pods are required.

I’m having a same issues, but all it does is force me to do is download an app to do signal tests. (I don’t particularly want to call up, because last time I did I got insulted because I was sent faulty equipment that still hasn’t been resolved years later and the time before that I got forced into an O2 contract I didn’t want, no, I’ve got told how to return and they were billing me when I never even opened the envelope with the Sim card in, which ruined my credit score for months, and I never even got a decent apology, Plus, let’s not forget. I was supposed to be in a contract with a set price for 25 months which I didn’t pay for five minutes and then it went up. I complained and basically got told to s*d off- So another insult. So as you can see, I’m a little bit wary of calling up since I never get any help anyway) I do test the test shows that the signal in my second bedroom is appalling, but it won’t let me save that, conveniently, although I can still prove that the test was appallingly bad, every so often I get a test that show was it below average, it stores that of course and says the signal is great, which clearly compared to the rest of the house, it’s not, it’s terrible! I’m supposed to be entitled to so many of the signal boosters for free, so why can’t I get one then? I only need one. I don’t need my full entitlement. I’ve paid a fortune to put Alexa devices all over my house, mostly so that my elderly pets don’t fret when I’m out of the house. I’m noticing they are dropping out constantly in that same room, so I’m having to set them off remotely, but I can’t exactly do that when I’m driving on the motorway, so it was a lot of money to spend for them to not work because my Internet in the back bedroom is appalling and I seem to be prevented from being able to do anything about it l, despite supposedly being entitled to them. Thanks in advance if anybody that
can actually help me out with this.
