Hi everyone
after days of trying to connect my Tcp smart plugs to the hub 5 I managed! (FYI I disabled the 5ghz AND the disabled the smart Wi-Fi function that seems to do the trick)
but now I have another problem!
one of the bulbs i want to use is outside above the back door, (one of the other bulbs I got working was for the porch so I assumed I could put one at the back door too) but it says it can’t find the Wi-Fi. I’m assuming it’s because it’s past thick walls and further away from the router.
I went online and was suggested a power line adapter but I think I’ve bought the wrong one 😵💫
any advice on what I should do ? Or on what I could buy ?
thanks 🙂

You will need to "extend" the Wifi signal. Depending on your contract, VM can supply Pods for free or at £8PM. You could also buy one and keep it, rather than rent from VM. As it's only a bulb, something like this should do Buy TP-Link AC750 Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender & Booster | Wi-Fi boosters | Argos
Note that extenders should be sited roughly halfway between the Wifi blackspot and the Hub.
