Slow Wi-Fi on 5x hub

Hi.

Just want to ask if is normal to pay for 1G broadband and have only 295Mbps?

I'm aware that the WiFi  will be never at the full speed but this is a massive drop. Doesn't matter if measure it morning or eveninin, that speed is always the same. No more, no less.

Any clue what cause that please?

Could it be 295 Mb/s is the max speed the Wi-Fi device can draw data ?
