Ring Door Bells Won’t Connect

Just got Virgin broadband installed yesterday. I have the Hub 3. Reconnected all of my devices no problem then got to my Ring doorbells.

They won’t connect to the wifi. I have tried all I can think of. I have been on the the hub settings and split the wifi by disabling the channel optimisation and renaming the 2.4 Ghz SSID. Still won’t connect.

I have also disabled the 5 Ghz altogether and it still won’t work. I’m not really happy as had no problems with Sky and my Ring doorbells are vital for parcels at this time of year and for security.

Anyone been able to get them to connect?

Look for a better wifi router with 1Gb ports and put hub in modem mode

We have a Hub 3, it does not have Wi-Fi connectivity or compatibility issues.
Factory reset the Ring Doorbells and perform an as new install for each following the instruction manual.

I suspect the WiFi antenna(s) in the doorbells are rubbish.   We have them in two family houses, and they both complain about low signal, but phones on 2.4Ghz are fine right next to the doorbell !!     20ft is about all they can manage, and less with brick walls in between.
