Also having this exact issue as of today in the Bristol area. Virgin Media is showing no signs of issues (in the area)

Try a trace route to one of your target hosts.
Do you see a VM hop ( that is local to you ) after which the route appears to vanish.

Yes, I am in B'tol too. No problem on Vodafone BB which I have next door, so using there. I seem to remember this in the past, very distant past, but anyone else remember?

Same problem in BS37, no access to Google services. Works fine with EE mobile.
