Overheating hub3?

The main light on my hub 3 has gone from the normal solid white light to a constant solid red light all the time. Other posts seem to suggest this is due to overheating. The hub is warm to the touch (but not hot) towards the top of the box but cool at the bottom. It is well ventilated in all directions, and both turning it off (for an hour) and then back on again as well as a proper hard reset (i.e. pin into the reset button) have failed to resolve the issue.

Was wondering if anyone can help me or offer any other suggestions as to what to do?

Many thanks,

Toby.

Hi there @tobyhunt 👋 Welcome to the forum and thanks for your post 😊

Sorry to see that the Hub light isn't as it should be. Thank you for trying the steps we'd usually advise. A this issue hasn't rectified itself, I'll pop you a PM to confirm your details so an engineer can be arranged.

Regards

Nathan

Hi Nathan, I have this exact same problem / symptoms as toby. I have tried all the suggested fixes above but still the same. I have called your office to report the fault and they said it was down to "WiFi upgrades" and would go back to white in a few days. Doesn't sound right to me. I am really worried about overheating.
