No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out;

Hello,

I keep getting intermittent Internet over ethernet and WiFi, when I check my network status it keeps saying No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out; and then follows on with some MAC address. I have been getting this issue intermittently everyday, is there anything I can do to fix this?

Thanks!

Can you post your Hub status and logs?
Someone should be spot if there is a problem
Navigate to http://192.168.0.1 (or http://192.168.100.1 - if in modem mode)
Don't log in!
Click on 'router status'
Copy/paste the data from each of the tabs as text into a 'REPLY' as opposed to 'QUICK REPLY'. The forum software will remove the MAC addresses for you (If you get an error - just click the 'post' button again).

Also, set up a 'Broadband Quality Monitor'. This will monitor the state of your connection and record any network dropouts etc - You can do this at ThinkBroadband (https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality)
Give it a while to gather data and then click 'Share Live graph' and paste the 'Direct Link' into the forum!

Hi OwenW, thanks for the message.

I have checked the area and cannot see any outages.

Can you confirm if you are still having issues with the service?

When was the BQM taken?

Chris.

Hi Chris,

Yes I am still having the issue every 30mins, I want to mention the Virgin Media plan is under a different name just incase I dont show up on your systems that is why, however, that BQM I sent was taken on the 13th of April I will attach images of my BQM graphs from each day from then until now (21st of April), but I would appreciate if you could help me with this as it keeps happening every day.

Thanks,

Owen.

Thank you for providing this @OwenW

Are you able to provide a live BQM link so we can monitor this to see if there are any patterns that correlate with the system at our side?

Here to help 🙂
