Hi all. I was a VM customer with the hub 5 500mb package and no problems at all but cancelled as price increase was too much. Wife signed up as new customer and got sent her hub 5 1gb package however the WiFi is shockingly poor. This hub is in same place as previous hub. Any ideas how she can possibly get a replacement? Phone support was a waste of time. If i can’t get it resolved will have to cancel (still in the 14 day period)

11 to 40 Mb/s are speeds of the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band.
Connect to the Hub 5 menu at http://192.168.0.1/ make sure the 5GHz Wi-Fi is enabled and that the SSID and Password match the connection settings you are using on your mobile phones.
Make sure that the Hub's 5GHz signal has mixed mode n/ac/ax enabled so your mobile
has a good chance of being able to connect.
Security should be WPA2-PSK, having WPA3-SAE enabled may cause connection failures.

Its a mixed bag if you get a working wifi on hubs I suggest looking to get your own router with 1Gb port or better and just use hub in modem mode.

Hi I should really have stated the speeds. On my hub 5 on 500mb package I was getting that kind of speed on my phone via WiFi. On this new hub 5 with 1gb package I’m getting around 40mb on WiFi while standing right next to the router. Speeds upstairs are around 11mb

I'm on M600 and according to samknows I get full speeds to the hub 5 (about 635Mbps) but at most 339Mbps to the phone as my Samsung Galaxy A525F cannot provide any better. So, sometimes you are limited by your devices.

Previous hub 5 I was getting 500mb on my phone. This new hub 5 on wife’s contract I’m getting around 40mb when right next to it. This new contract is the 1GB speed.
