Hey everyone I received a new Virgin Hub 5 today, I’d previously had the 3 I think? I had an Ethernet cable running from the Virgin Hub to my NetGear AX1800 WiFi 6 Router upstairs in the middle bedroom. So I swapped over the hub today and it connected fine with no issues. I was using the NetGear router upstairs for wired gaming and essentially as a WiFi extender because the coverage upstairs is terrible, the problem I have now is since swapping to the new hub we seem to be getting no wireless signal from the NetGear router upstairs - the console and the PC that is hardwired into the Netgear router is fine it’s just the wireless signal. Is there anyway to fix this? I’m hopeless with this sort of stuff thank you so much.

VM have nothing to do with the NetGear wifi unless the hub is causing wifi interference you should test with the hub in modem mode with NetGear as router and see how the wifi is

If you have the Netgear as an WiFi extender set the SSID and password to be the same as the Hub 5 on both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.

Login to the Netgear Routers admin menu and find out what has happened to its Wi-Fi settings,
Check both 2.4 & 5 GHz bands are enabled
Check both bands have SSID broadcast enabled
Check the SSID / Passwords are as expected
