National Lottery blocking access

I have been signing into the National Lottery website from my iPad for over a year. Today when I tried to go to the website I was denied access as the website said my IP address was outside of the UK.

I have checked my IP address on a site whatsmyip.com and it shows the IP address as being in Portsmouth and confirms it is in UK.

If I use my iPhone I can access the site without any issues. 

Anybody have any ideas as to why this is happening and how I can resolve it?

Is the iPad running a VPN by any chance?

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Yes - discovered that the latest update to iOS had set me up with something called private relay - now fixed
