My hub has a solid red light.

The other day I noticed that a permanent red light was showing on the Router; the internet is working fine so far, but reading through other comments, seems the red light may be caused by overheating and could be a fire risk. I have already tried switching it off and back on again and red light still shows. So, what can I do for now? Contact Virgin or maybe an advisor on the community pages may help?

Hi @MrGiles22,

Thank you for your post and welcome back to our community forums. We're here to help.

I'm sorry to hear you're having some trouble with your router displaying a constant red light. If you haven't done so already, please follow these steps.

• Turn the power switch off on the back of the Hub.

• Ensure the Hub is upright, in a well-ventilated location, and, if at all possible, out of direct sunlight.

• Then use the power switch to turn the unit back on. The Hub should now operate normally.

If the issue still remains after following the above then please respond to the private message that I'll be sending to you shortly and we'll proceed from there with this.

Thanks,
