Moving into a new build, postcode not recognised

Joining in

Im moving to a new build that has a virgin and bt back box. So I should be able to transfer my virgin media to the new address.

However since it's a new build, the postcode doesn't appear on the VM postcode checker.

Why would there be a virgin back box if virgin isn't available for that property?

I am so sorry to hear that you have faced this issue regarding the post code. Have you spoken to the house move team on 0345 454 1111 as they should be able to check this address and see if a quick start install can be arranged for you?

Yes I've spoken to them. I had to register the new address on Royal Mail. Only until the new address is approved by Royal Mail then virgin media will be able to check the postcode since you use the same system as them...
