Hello all
This is a typical monitor for me...is this bad???. I have seen some people with a smooth green.
Approaching nearly 5 years with VM and next renewal in few months. Connection has always been stable and I have been using my own router since 2nd week after join VM.
Now Openreach have connected to our street I am considering my options.

I have redone the cables for the router connection and wall. Only the Sky Q and a single powerline connected to my sons bedroom wired.
This is the latest. Its been very reliable apart from the odd street maitanance disruption and price has been very good value for money. The Wi-Fi is taken care by my own router.
VM won't do anything as its not considered broken. I am considering jump to a Openreach 300 or 500 package. Sky are strange with TP-Link router so my options are Plusnet or Vodafone. The question is will I get better result with Openreach.
I have read poor reviews about Vodafone, but then again VM is cursed and its given me very little issues for near 5 years.

I can't speak for other Openreach ISPs, but with EE you don't have to use their Hub/router. You can connect your own router directly to the ONT, giving you full control.

You say you have redone connections from Hub to wall box - if so where did you source the VM cable and connectors?
Did you try the experiment I suggested above - if so what was the outcome?

Good Afternoon @sayekm, thanks for coming back to us and we're sorry to hear of the issues experienced with the connection and the consideration of switching to an alternative provider.
Are you possibly able to address the questions/suggestions posted by your fellow Forum users to offer us more incite into the matter at hand?
