My internet has been down for about an hour. It was working fine, then went off all of a sudden.
The arrows on my hub keep flashing green then red.
When I looked online to see what the green arrows meant it says that it's a fault with connectivity on my end (even though signal went down suddenly and I was nowhere near the hub when it happened)
But then says that flashing red arrows means that there's a fault on VMs end, yet when I looked on the website it says there's no work being done or any faults logged in my area and the problem is my cables aren't connected properly?
I work from home and can't afford to not know when my internet connection is going to come back.

Hi Nix1111
Apart from using the online /check-services/ function, you could also try the automated Service Status number 0800 561 0061. This often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.

Thank you. I have called that number and it also says that there is no faults or maintenence being done in my area.
I just would like to know why my hub is telling me 2 contradictory things??

The green arrows on a Hub 3 would mean our connection to the VM Network has been lost.
A network outage can take time to be logged by the service checkers - do use both the link and the phone number.
Ask the folks next door if their VM service has dropped out too.

Hey Nix1111, thank you for reaching out and I am so sorry to hear you are having some connection issues.
I've taken a look at our side and I can see everything is working as it should be?
How has the connection been over the weekend?
