Internet disconnects once a month

Once a month I wake to find my internet has stopped but the light is a solid white on the Hub 5x and I have the 1.2 gig fibre. I do the switch off and unplug, nothing. I do the factory reset button underneath.....nothing, just a flashing blue light. Then 3-4 hours down the line it suddenly starts again.

I check the virgin outage line and everything is reported to be fine in my area. It's always on a Friday. Thankfully I still have BT Broadband for my phone as Vigin do not supply the phone service in our yet as cable was only layed late last year and service came online in January 2024.

Never had an issue with BT broadband and any disconnects was me rebooting the box and it was back on within 5 minutes. Any reboot with Virgin can take anywhere between 30mins to 4 hours.

Any other tips or advice on trying to get connected quicker? Unfornately, change provider isn't option as i am tied with them for another year or so.
