Hub 5 switching mode itself, faulty?

Hi,

Been using my hub 5 since December in modem mode without issue.  This morning it switched itself to router mode plus the attached ethernet cables weren't working for the pcs internet.   After much faffing around, hours spent resetting/logging in and out on pc and over wifi I managed to get it back up and running on both wired for pcs and wireless through my honor router.  Now it's happened again this evening.  Think the hub is faulty or possessed(!)  Help please.

If your own router is struggling for a stable connection to the Hub 5 try one of the three Hub 5 1Gb/s ports.

Compatibility issues with the 2.5Gb/s port following a recent software update are covered here :
