Had Internet issues over the weekend then hours on this Monday and Tuesday. 3 hours yesterday on one call, passed from one agent to another about four/five times each time starting from scratch. I have an issue with the hub not connecting since last Friday. Suspect an update has caused this but VM will not or can not rectify. The IP address of the hub looks weird as far as my limited experience and using windows 10 computer diagnostics, although it was perfect up until 19-1-24. Countless resets and pens - pin hole resets and temporary remedy then drop out. Strangely can connect via an extender (not VM) but only as temporary fix - however VM think they don’t have to sort. Anyone else recognise this?

Ahh, you must be VM IE? VM UK don't use IPv6, so you need to contact Customer Support | Check Your Service | Virgin Media Ireland for any future assistance. Cheers !

What IP address is the Hub getting that makes you think it is invalid? Don't post the whole IP, just a section of it. What IP is your Windows 10 PC getting, is it a 192.168.0.xxx address ?

Hello
I may be barking up the wrong tree.
on the main router which loses its connection. Then it looks weird and won’t connect.
Theres a IP v4 which looks normal
192.etc and IP4 DNS
it’s when the IPv6 DNS servers show that looks strange to me and I then can’t connect. 3 lines show as sort of 👇
***0:0:0:****::1%1
***0:0:0:****::2%1
***0:0:0:****::3%1
Ive just gone on again and it is working so whether a magic fairy has fixed it or it will drop again.

Strangely after posting all is well with the world. Internet’s been so good. Incidentally I am in UK something was wrong and now is OK. Thanks for the links and reply though just in case.
