I’ve got the cable coming into the property on the front elevation and need to run a length of coax under the floor to the room where my new server cabinet (patch panel, NAS storage, router etc) which is in the middle of the home which will then connect to the hub 3 in modem mode
What is the correct cable to use? Currently I’ve got RG6 but read conflicting items elsewhere about hd100 and some others.

VM will not run coax under the floorboards for you unless you lift them or install trunking with a pull cord before they come. You cannot use your own cable, it special specification only available to VM and it’s again the T&C as noise can be introduced into the circuit. This not only affects you, but all users on the street cabinet. In the future the coax will be replaced with fibre.
As you run the hub in modem mode why not just install an Ethernet cat6 cable from the hub location to your cabinet. Best to run two cables, one for redundancy. Cat6 cable will future proof up to 10G for a 30m run.
