Engineer non appearance

Habanero

Last week an engineer came after we'd had a week of frequent broadband outages, some lasting hours. He was good and replaced most of the cabling as it was old. Later the same day he called and said he done some remote tests and the hub seemed to have some issues, and we arranged that an engineer would replace it today. I checked my account this morning and the appointment was there 8am-1pm.

Nobody came, and the appointment has now disappeared from my account. Now I don't know whether I need a new hub or not. To be honest, it's been stable since last week, and the speed is also good.

You still need a new hub, preferably one supplied by BT, PlusNet or any other company that isn't virgin media.

Hi @Habanero

Welcome back to the community forums

Sorry to hear that there was a missed appointment to replace the router.

Checking the systems at our side we can see that there was some work done externally rather than a replacement router. Are you having any further issues at all with your services since Wednesday at all?

Here to help 🙂

No, it's been stable since the first engineer came and replaced some cabling.

That's great to hear, please do monitor the connection for us @Habanero if there are any issues at all please pop back and let us know and we will be more than happy to take another look.
