Does the hub5 have SQM or equivalent?

Just wanted to know if the hub5 has SQM or equivalent feature.

If not if I was to use it in modem mode would a attached router have any issues with using SQM mode. Obviously the router would need to have that feature.

Cheers

VM Hubs don't have SQM ( Smart Queue Management ).

If buffer bloat is your concern, set the VM Hub into modem mode and test with the computer / console as the only directly network cabled device.   This configuration  is as good as it can get, additional router can not improve the performance.

I'm always nervous of "gaming routers" the term is just marketing speak for a domestic grade router in a ugly case sprouting with antennae, the one aspect that often appears most boosted is the price.

All VM hubs only have basic networking, that one of the reasons a lot of people use modem mode.
