Converting 5 GwH to 2.4 Gwh on Virgin Media router

I spoke to a technical man at Virgin Media.  Because I need to use my home security camera when visiting another country. And 2.4 has a longer range than 5. And because my security camera simply says...

    setup on your own wifi router with 1Gb ports with hub in modem mode or you be doomed.

To the right of that information do you see Hub setting and Password, it is that password which need to enter, as highlighted in image below.
