Re: Best router for Hub 3 modem mode?

It is, but with a mesh system, all the ones I’ve seen, need a power supply point at each node. This is not always feasible in some old properties. Using WAP’s with PoE is a lot better, it’s very easy to hide Cat5e cable.

Re: Best router for Hub 3 modem mode?

I would recommend the USG from Ubiquiti and (a) separate WIFI access point(s)

Re: Best router for Hub 3 modem mode?

I’m using a Ubiquiti EdgeRouter with 3 Ubiquiti Unifi PoE switches and two Unifi AC PRO WAPs.

Re: Best router for Hub 3 modem mode?

It was the hub,i bought the Tenda AC10U and it's awesome...just plug in and was detecting by himself the connection and everything else, has an app for android and IOS to manage it. 347Mbps down with 36.9 Mbps up and the signal far way better....in a house with three bedrooms every room has full signal 2.4 and 5 I saw that they have another one TENDA AC18 for bigger house i will recommend that one.
