When the Hub 4 is in Router mode (i.e. you have Wi-Fi enabled on the Hub) , you can add as many 10/100 or better 10/100/1000 Networks switches as are needed and make use of all available ports i.e from both the VM Hub and the network switches. (We have a Hub 3 + TP-Link 8 Port 10/100/1000 network switch).
For a Hub 4 in Modem mode, attach a network switch to the LAN side of the 3rd Party Router.

Thanks I thought I had immediate helpful answer.
Which 3rd party router, I disconnected Nighthawk ages ago, does this need to be re used if adding new Switch.

Thanks it was additional router that I didn't think of.
Maybe I'll re add Nighthawk at some point.
Great to see Every port can be used with Hub and Switch.
thanks

The Nighthawk, if configured in access point mode would it do the job of giving additional network ports ?
