My Virgin Media iOS app not working

  • At 08:15 on 20th February 2024, My Virgin Media app (version 24.1.0) opens with “Oops! Sorry, something’s gone wrong.” I have deleted the app from my iPhone and re-downloaded it but upon signing in, there is no change. I am hoping that Virgin Media tech are aware of this.

Hi @Almedia,
Thank you for your post and I am sorry you are having issues with your app. Are you able to access My VM on a different device?
Thanks,

Zoie

Hi Zoie and thank you for your reply. Prior to my post this morning, I had the same response on my iPad, but having just tried again on my iPhone, the app now appears to be working again so we’ll see how that goes. The issue certainly was not due to my broadband/wifi connection and other apps were working normally. I will naturally report back should I notice that this issue occurs again in the future. Thank you for being there.

Thank you for confirming that for me, do you have a device that is not an Apple one? So we can rule out if there is an issue with Apple and My MV or if it's the app or if it's your VM account?
Thanks,
Zoie

Hi Zoie, I did actually mention in my previous post that I was using an iPad and iPhone. Alan

Hi Alan,

Thanks for coming back to us.

I think we just needed to check if you had a non Apple device incase the issue was happening on Android too.

Are things still working for you or has the issue re-appeared?

Thanks,
