reducing the cost of my service

It seems so long as you want to increase the cost of your service, everything is easy.  Try to reduce it, nothing!  The complaints process sends you the links to the same useless pages you can access yourself.  The only simple option appears to be to move provider!

maybe you should move to another provider

i am going to do that, 9 September will be my last day with virgin media

they couldn't price match Vodafone 900mb at £31 a month

Sorry to hear of the difficulty faced when trying to reduce the monthly cost of your services. 

We would have to advise that sadly we cannot always guarantee to match or better previous discounts issued - especially if the recent agreement was part of a new customer deal.

Do feel free to give our team another try, if you wish to discuss the possibility of a renewal with Virgin Media via 0345 454 1111 or 150.

Alternatively, you can also utilise this phone number to request a cancellation, if you believe this is the best resolution for you.
