Virgin not honouring agreement

A slight rant here as I’m running out of options.

When I renewed my contract last year, it was agreed on web chat that instead of a 18 month contract it would be a 12. I made sure of this as I wouldn’t have taken the contract out otherwise. I had downloaded the transcript but unfortunately have managed to lose the file.

I’m now being stuck with a £250 early disconnect fee and according to Virgin they are unable to access my chat history to confirm

Extremely disappointed with Virgin. Not the first time I’ve had issues. 

Looking for any suggestions or a bit of help

Try a data request from VM. Its Faqs point to a 6 month deadline for call recordings but none for other types of data like chat transcripts. Link is below. Then come back here.
