I recently signed up for broadband and decided to ditch Sky Stream for Virgin Stream as they were offering Sky Sports for £18.75 a month. The way it looked on the site made it seem like it was that price each month but I decided to hop onto live chat and ask anyway. The person there told me the offer itself was ending at the end of May but signing up beforehand meant that the discount would be applied to your account monthly.
Just received my bill and they’ve charged me £38 for it so promptly cancelled it and then called to complain about how I felt it was mis-sold, was offered £10 credit.
The annoying thing is Sky are still offering it for £20 a month so I’m not without it completely which is quite annoying.
Is it worth me holding out with the hope that Virgin will discount it again (and for longer) or should I just swap to Now TV or something similar?
