VM cable outside my property

A company were in our road a couple of weeks ago digging up the pavements to lay fibre ducting.  Outside my property they cut through the VM cable and all VM services were lost.

Reported the issue to VM who sent an engineer out 3 days later who was able to reconnect the cable but unable to put it back under the pavement

Another company contracted by virgin came out this week to re-secure the cable underground (I thought)  However, on inspection they've simply laid the cable on the pavement surface at the bottom of my boundary wall and covered it in less than a cm of soil - which will wash away with the first rain.  Concerned that this is neither secure or safe and would appreciate advice re resolution please?

Hello Mpannell.

Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. 

Clearly the contracting company need to get back out and resolve the external cabling. That is what we would like to arrange from here.

We will need some details for where the actual work needs to re done, So we will send you a private message.
