Thought I'd share my Renewal experience

I recently renewed with Sky Sports/TNT/Movies, phone & 1GB broadband for £60. A major faff though as that was the deal I was offered in "my Virgin Media" when I logged in (being 2 months from contract end it was called something like early renewal special offer), they cancelled the renewal order a week later saying I needed to call, was then quoted £97 and that I couldn't have the £60 due to a "price mismatch", after complaining and being forwarded to a UK call center they sorted the discounts on my account to honour the £60 deal (as I had a email confirmation of a deal saying that).

If you get an email saying you've got an exclusive renewal deal in My virgin Media its worth logging on and having a look, just be prepared they might cancel it if its a good deal, but stand your ground and state that you want the deal you accepted honoured. I was paying £46 before and also got Netflix! which is obviously a crazy deal that I knew I wouldn't get again. Probably spent about 1.5 hours on the phone in total.

Hey Havar, thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community, I am so sorry to hear this.

We wouldn't normally cancel a renewal, who advised this was cancelled sorry?

Just to confirm is everything sorted out for you now?

After giving VM Forum Staff the chance to sort the issue out, on this simple, online form, please let the telecoms regulator OfCom know about your experience of contract renewal issues.

Ofcom have been investigating various complaints since 2023, but many customers have not reported because they did not know or thought it would take lots of time.
