I am really needing some help.
Got a call from Virgin yesterday, saying TNT had been removed and it was now an add-on. Normally I question this kind of thing but I thought perhaps I’d missed an email or something…still thought it was odd that a contract could be changed like that. I was persuaded to upgrade my internet and price gone up a few quid. I’ve always avoided getting the mobile from virgin but the guy told me “it’s just an inactive sim, it’ll come in the post, you don’t have to use it”. Next thing I know, I’ve received umpteen texts from 02, a new number activated and direct debit set up! Surely this is mis-selling a product?

Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your package at the moment. The agent should have advised that the sim card would come from O2 rather than Virgin Mobile. The package price will be the same that you have agreed with ourselves but they should also have advised that you would need to make separate payments to Virgin Media and O2.
