Hi, I've been waiting for my referral reward along with my son since 06/03/2024. I have emails from Virgin saying this will be an estimated 9 week wait. They again emailed on the 27/03/2024 to say they hadn't forgotten about it but I still have not received it. When speaking to Aklamio many times, including today, they have said:
We regret to hear that the processing of your reward is taking longer than anticipated.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the extended processing time experienced with our partner.
As an external company, we do not have access to our partner's database. Therefore, all referral rewards must undergo approval by our partner. This involves verifying the validity of the referral, ensuring the contract has not been cancelled, and other necessary checks. The reward can only be disbursed through the referral account powered by Aklamio once it has been approved by our partner's internal department responsible for the referral program.
Rest assured, we have promptly followed up with our partner to expedite the processing of your pending reward. You will be automatically notified as soon as we receive a response from them.
Its been 18 weeks wait so far as the first time we did this referral and we received the email to say it was pending. It is showing as pending in both of our Aklamio accounts. I keep being sent back and forth by both companies. Seems like a scam. Myself and my son still have active broadband contracts with Virgin media and I've been a customer for some years.
Is there anyone that can look into this. I've sent many screenshots of our accounts, emails regarding this, area numbers and everything thay is needed to verify. Next will be a complaint as it has been double the time they said in their email.
