Ordered sky cinema upgrade 3 days ago

Hi, I upgraded to sky cinema on Monday just over 3 days ago through the app, but it still hasn't upgraded. I believe it can take a while but I thought 3 days was a bit much,is this normal?

A warm welcome and thanks for posting on our community forums. We're sorry to hear you've had issue with you Sky Sports coming through when ordering online.

It normally comes on quite quickly, it would not take 3 days. Did you get any confirmation emails when you added this channel.

There may have been an issue with your order online. Have you tried adding it again since your last post?

Unfortunately, package changes and new contract deals are not something we deal with from this community forum.

Please can we ask you to try and order the Sky Sports subscription again.

Alternatively, you can get these channels added by our team on 150/0345 454 1111 or use WhatsApp messaging service on 
0730 532 7112.

Thanks for the reply. Its actually Sky cinema and not Sky sports but I doubt that makes a difference.

Yes I received a email with confirmation and a reference number.

Thanks for coming back to us on this. Apologies for the slip there. Yes, Sky Sports and Cinema are added in the same way. 

If you've had an order confirmation then it's likely gone to the back office teams for them to add this on. On occasions it can take up to 14 days for them to pick this up and activate things this end. Once they've completed it, you'll receive another email confirming the changes. 

A quicker way of adding the channels is to speak to the team on 150 / 0345 454 1111 as mentioned by Jodi as they work off the live system so the changes are made at the time rather than going to another team to process. 

Let us know how things go and if you need any further help, you know where we are.

Yep I requested online to add sky movies got an email will take 14 days for someone to press a button. Pretty pathetic could get sky installed in less time
