O2, Volt and billing issues

Hi all

I upgraded my existing VM account last December and for £39 I should have received

  • Broadband M250 (Volt upgrade from M125 at no extra cost)
  • An O2 Sim (100GB)

This was the summary on my contract summary letter when I submitted the order and since then my VM monthly bill has a shot up to £61. I’m also being billed £15 by O2 on top of that. It appears my package has been split and I’m being billed for broadband separately for M250 and doesn’t match my contract or the deal I signed up for. 

Has anyone else had the same issue and how did you get it resolved? Every time I try to find an avenue to getting it fixed I end up being directed here 🙂

For info - after being on the VM chat for 3 hours they finally accepted I was being overcharged by £15 per month. 

There was some resistance to the fact that the charges didn’t match with the contract I was issued, but I finally got through to someone who was able to and wanted to help resolve it.  I do worry how many people would have given up having being told it was their mistake 😞
