No option to complain available

I moved to an area which Virgin Media do not service. Therefore I was told by Virgin that I had to pay a cancellation costs of £243.39 by a certain date and then I can request a refund due to Virgin being unable to provide me with the service. Virgin have stated now 7 times that they are sending me a cheque for £243.39, with the first being 5 months ago. I paid the £243.39 because I didn't want me not doing what they said to affect my credit raiting, but now it's been 5 months. Their online complaint form does not allow me to complete it as I am no longer a customer.

Do not believe them when they are going to issue a refund and complaints over the phone go no where as I am still waiting on my refund.

The amount of time I have spent on trying to obtain this refund is ridiculas.

Does anyone have an email address that I am able to send a complaint to? I feel like I should try to complain one more time directly to them before complaining via omsbudman.

Don't waste time with a further VM complaint. Complain to the ombudsman via the process below

https://www.commsombudsman.org/our-process

I believe there may be a 12 month time limit on ombudsman complaints so don't waste any more time waiting for VM.

Hi @Corinna 👋 Thank you for your post and welcome to the Virgin Media Community 😀

We're sorry to hear you've still not received your refund and about the poor experience you've had 😔

In order to look into this for you further, we'll send you a private message on here. Look out for the envelope in the top right-hand corner.

If you're on a portable device with a smaller screen, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner and select "messages" from the additional menu options.

Regards,
Daniel
