My 1G package states its increased by £8.99 this month !
This is not the April rise as thats already happened, and ideas what's going on here ?
Edit: Mystery Solved, I think, by logging into the old billing pages (the new ones are hopeless).
It appears its because my billing date has moved by a few days, next month shows as back to normal.

Hey Paul-M, thank you for reaching out and I am so sorry to hear about this.
Could one of your discounts expired?
They are only time sensitive.
Also have you bought anything else month at all?

New around here?

I dont have any discounts, that I'm aware of anyway.
I think I solved what happened (see above).
That said, I will be terminating my service when my contract expires (in 5 months).
It really pees me off that I pay £27 a month more than someone joining as a new customer.
I have been a customer for 25 years accros the various name changes, and get nothing, loyalty doesnt pay.

Hi @Paul-M,
Thanks for getting back to us. I'm glad to hear you've managed to get to the bottom of the higher than expected bill. That's correct if the billing date has changed then there'll likely be some brief changes to billing to account for the changes so you're not over paying or under paying for the agreed bundle.
However, it's a shame to hear that you're considering cancelling your package. We always have a bunch of different offers available for both new customers and existing customers too. If you're unhappy with your current bundle, have you discussed other options with the retentions team on 0345 454 1111 (or 150 from a Virgin Media landline) yet?
Thanks,
