Hello All,
Myself and my partner are currently with VM on the M500 Fibre Broadband package and our minimum contract end date is 27th April 2025.
We are in the process of buying a new home, which we will be moving into mid to late October 2024 which VM do NOT provide broadband for this property. Alongside this we will be leaving the current property being provided the M500 package on the 25th September 2024 (the gap in between properties will be spent at a parents house and utilising a storage facility because of how notice lands for the rented property and beginning the mortgage and access to the new property starts).
I’m stuck on how to handle the communication with VM to deal with the standard 30 days notice, to move to a property that isn’t VM provided, but having that gap in between where we are essentially classed as “homeless” until we move into the new property.
Any advice or help would be massively appreciated!

Thank you for your post. Your best bet would be to speak with our Movers Team by calling in via 150/0345 454 1111.
They will be able to talk you through the best course of action for how to deal with the close of the account for your move.
