wow its amazing how many people this is happening to ive just had the same experience myself nothing but lies and scamming did you get to the bottom of it and any advice you could give me to help me out please

Your right. It doesn't. The previous deal was with BT Sports, who allowed their sports channels to be bundled with other channels. TNT no longer allows it, so when you change contracts they become premium add-ons the same as Sky Sports.

There is also an ongoing dispute with the renewal of the carriage deal as TNT want to increase prices further from August. It could result in a blackout of the TNT channels on Virgin if it's not resolved:
