Invitation to discuss new contract

Our VM contract expires on 12/09/24 but today we received a text message from VM to remind us our contract is ‘coming to an end soon’ and asking us to ‘Recontract now’.

We would not normally expect VM to be in touch about a new contract until much nearer the expiry date and not some 5 MONTHS beforehand.

The text message would appear to be genuine but you can never be sure. We haven’t contacted VM yet.

We would be interested to hear if anyone else has received such an early contact from VM about a new contract.

Hey @DuffDuff,

Welcome back to the Community Forums and thanks for the post.

Sorry to hear you have had this text, we are aware that some customers are being notified earlier of their contract coming to an end, we wouldn't be able to look into the package here with you but it might be best to wait closer to the time, as better deals will open up closer to when your contract ends.
