Does anyone know if I need to take this regular contractual breach to the obbudsman before I can exit the contract early ?
Every other month my bill is wrong (this month it is more than double what it should be). I then go through the agony of raising a complaint, spending time on the phone and eventually getting an adjustment posted to my next bill - only for the same to occur on the subsequent billing cycle.
Last time I told them in writing that I would consider it a breach of contract if it happens for a fourth time this year - and today it has happened again. It is costing me a lot of time and effort as well as being pretty stressful. The amounts involved are quite significant (50% - 100% more than the agreed amount). It is at least 2 - 3 hours of effort every two months, including them calling me during working hours unnecessarily (they could just resolve it based on the written complaint). Bizarrely, they ask me to send them a copy of my contract (which adds to the annoyance).
I may give citizens advice a call on Monday, but I thought someone might gone through something similar.

Hello stuartincambs.
Thanks for your first post and welcome to our community.
Sorry to hear you are having an issue with your billing each month
I'd like to investigate this for you and see if I can get everything resolved.
If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security.
If you can check your logo at the top right of your screen that would be great.
