The dirty lying virginmedia team at it again

Spoke to someone on chat a few weeks ago to cancel my TV and keep Internet, got a good deal for the Internet which I was happy with. She said I had £296 to pay which I disagreed with, and after arguing for 40 minutes with her and telling her to cancel all my services she came back and said my next bill will be £49 left to pay.

Today I get a bill for £291!!!!

So basically just lied to keep me with them

I am going straight to my solicitor this afternoon as I kept a record of the chat and I am suing for breach of contract and lying to keep me as a customer

I now want ALL SERVICES cancelled

I just tried to ring and got some automated crap about payment and then got cut off

Absolutely disgusting service yet again for virginmedia

Update

I spoke with the virginmedia team that deals with payments and they said there is nothing on the account to say it had been agreed to be lowered to £49 I said I had a copy of the chat and I have to pay the £291

I have instructed my solicitor to start legal action against virginmedia. He said I have been lied to to keep me in my contract and we have proof

I have also heard many other with the same problem, it seems online chat just lie and do nothing

You will be sued for breach of contract

They have yet to offer anything

Just generic questions to confirm my identity

It appears I have changed my package twice in the last 12 months and yet the changes have never been applied According to chat via private message

So more lies

For my latest changes to take effect I have to pay the £291

So I get lied to and have to pay nearly 300 for it

Shove your services virginmedia you are a vile disgusting company I wish to have no part of

Legal action against you will be started Monday

I have proof of all previous conversations

I advise no one change anything via live chat as they constantly tell lies to keep you in contract
