I also am experiencing this issue. I can get as far as attempting to log in to O2 if I use Firefox rather than Safari on my Mac, but then after logging in to O2 I get a message saying there was an error and to try again later. I have tried several times over the last couple of weeks since I got the original email from Virgin Media about creating my Virgin Media O2 ID.

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you are facing with the VMO2 ID.
Are you able to clear cache and cookies and try again? If that doesn't work please try a private tab and see how it goes on.

I have tried both clearing my cache and cookies and a new private window in Firefox and now I cannot even get as far as before. I enter the code I was sent then click on Let's Get Started or something like that, then I get the animated infinity sign or whatever it is meant to be, but I do not get as far as logging in to O2, which I did before trying clearing my cache etc.

Can you sign into the O2 account separately as you did previously?
Can you recall what the error message was you were getting when trying to do this via the Virgin Media O2 ID we sent?

I am trying again at the moment. I have logged in to O2 in a private window. I have logged in to Virgin Media in another private window. In a third private window I have gone to the link in the email I received and clicked to log in to Virgin Media and I am just seeing
