Constant calls from 0800 052 8675

Hi, 

I am having the same issue as above but don’t have the option to ‘opt out’ in the app and I’m sure I put that I didn’t want to receive marketing when I joined virgin a few months ago. Any way these calls can be stopped please? It’s multiple times a day everyday and when I have answered the odd one the line went dead! 

I too am receiving an unacceptable number of marketing calls. They purport to off me the best deal available but they always end up costing me more per month than I pay now, I always reject the offer. 

I've tried changing my marketing preferences in my account but when I go to save changes, it returns the message "sorry your changes have not been saved, please try again later" What a surprise!!!

I'm very sorry to hear that you're receiving some unwanted calls. Have you answered any of them to see what the reason is for their call? If so, have you told them during the phone call that you would like them to cease calling further?

To log out of calls scroll down to the Your Account section on the Home page when you sign into MVM

Then click on the Account Settings icon (shown in the screenshot below)

Then on the screen that opens click on Marketing Preferences 

Untick the box next to Sounds good! Keep me up to date in the Marketing consent section, and then click on Save Changes.

It can take up to 30 days for the changes to take effect

Welcome to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with calls from 0800 052 8675. You can also change your marketing consent to opt out of calls via your online account by following these steps 👉 Account Settings > Marketing and Contact preference > Scroll down to Marketing Consent and you can change the settings there.

Regarding your package, have you contacted the team to have your package reviewed at all? If not, please give the team a call on 150 from a Virgin Media landline or 0345 454 1111 opt 1, 4 and 4 again, this will get you through to the contracts team who will be able to look into this further for you.

Sorry to see you're not happy with the calls you receive from our team 😞

If you log into our app or website, then click on 'Marketing preferences > Edit my preferences'. From here, you can choose whether you want to receive offers. If you switch this off, it will stop any calls, emails and addressed marketing.

It can take up to 40 days for the marketing changes to fully take effect, whether that be opting in or opting out.
